To whom it may concern...
When it comes to making fun of people or being any part of it you just go a head, sit comfortably in your chair and stab away. Indulge yourself as you become part of the hell these people may face everyday. Possibly not wanting to live because of the torture they've been made to envelope. I was made fun of all through Jr. high and high school. Just in case you weren't, it's enough pain to immobilize you.
Prejudice? Consider yourself lucky, you're just like 90% of the world. You're safe. I seem to of missed the moment you've started the rebirth of your existence as someone who dedicates their life to helping those less fortunate. I mean, sure, I might jokingly talk some shit ever so often, but I also reach into my pocket and hand the bum on the corner a couple bucks every chance I can.

I hope you don’t just acknowledge what Gandhi said as being something that’s very true, but something that also comes in many forms.

If I was judging in what I have written then so be it. I don't mind being one in the attempt to stand up for people who in no way, for no reason should be made fun of. It's terrible and it breaks my heart. But you're very right,

Care to share? I think it would help the conversation if we talked about not what we could do, but what we're doing to change the world.

For starters, I gave a homeless man $3.50 or so the other day. I do it as often as I can, I just feel guilty handing him two fist fulls of sticky pennies so I try to keep small bills on me.

Who else has something they'd like to share? Seriously, out with it. We should make it a new thing on the forum. I think it would be a great idea!

Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding you. My intention is not to turn 'good deeds' into a contest. Letting my emotion get the best of me was wrong I suppose. But what I am not guilty of is the fact I was trying to prove a point. My opinion is not wrong, the way I voiced it was. So let me start over. It hurts me to see people making fun of others. I believe instead of making fun or being prejudice we should make an effort to change things in our community and our world. I have the right to own that belief.

I was just gonna post a reply that supported Becca, her beliefs, her actions and her heart. That would be stupid. Because it would somehow get thrown in my face on what a piece of shit I am for supporting my wife and exposing who she really is, not what people believe she is.

There's no point in discussing this any further...Period. It will be a never-ending rant.

I found this opinion exchange entertaining, Dan. It wasn't meant to be hurtful to Becca or Neil...It was really interesting to see what the other was going to rebut. Becca's words were very intelligent and thought provoking. Neil's words were also very intelligent and thought provoking. Nobody has to agree or disagree with either of them, but you must admit it's the spiciest the forum has been in a great while.

I never intended on hurting anyone's feelings. I think it's best if opinions are kept to one's self. Everyone here seems to have the brain power of a piss ant compared to my massive intellect so it's best to assume your opinion is pretty much wrong unless I say otherwise.
